Mary has been working in the dental field since 1985 when Joy relocated from Texas to Connecticut as an associate with the office that Mary had managed for 18 years. Having maintained a personal and professional relationship for all those years, Mary joined the team on Straits Turnpike in Middlebury and has been full time integral part of the team since 2000.
Mary's responsibilities include managing the balance between patient needs and office procedures in an efficient and personable manner. Her strong organizational skills, together with her sense of humor and ability to positively interact with our patients and staff like they are family, make her an invaluable addition and a key member of the office staff.
Mary and her husband Bob are active members of the community. They can often be found enjoying a round of golf or entertaining friends and family.
Now that their children are grown, they are rediscovering their love of travel.
Being extremely gifted, Mary also holds a second degree Black Belt in the martial arts and has taught her art to numerous local adults and children throughout the years including her own daughters, both of whom who also hold Black Belts.
Sandi has been a certified dental assistant for twenty-two years. A California native, she received her training in San Diego . She moved to Connecticut 19 years ago after meeting her husband while he was vacationing on the west coast.
Sandi worked for a few different dental practices after relocating to Connecticut, but did not find the perfect fit until she met Dr. Lunan, a fellow westerner who like Sandi had been uprooted and transplanted to the east coast.
She has been working along side Dr. Lunan since 1990.
Sandi's strong work ethic along with her considerable skills in all areas of dentistry make her Dr. Lunan's right hand.
Sandi is the dental patient's biggest advocate . She makes everyone in the office comfortable with her amazingly outgoing personality, sense of humor and willingness to go the extra mile to do what ever it takes to get the job done right!.... no matter what.
Sandi is devoted to her family and enjoys spending time with her husband and her two children.
Sara is the newest member of our team. She was born in Mexico City, and moved to Guadalajara where she completed her education.
Her father is a dentist who still actively practices in Mexico.
Sara has over twenty years experience as a dental assistant and moved to Connecticut three years ago from Miami with her husband Mickey and her daughter to be closer to her family. She is a wonderful addition to our practice and brings with her a lively sense of fun and caring to all our patients.
Sara lives locally and enjoys the beautiful outdoors, her large extended family, friends and traveling. She is adjusting well to the cold New England winters, but misses the sun, beaches and blue water of south Florida.

Sherre has been working in the dental field for twenty-six years. She has been part of Dr. Lunan's team since 1993.
Sherree began as a full time assistant those many years ago, but currently works on a part time basis and remains a valuable member of our Dental team. She can always be counted on to be there when asked and is most remarkable for her easy going smile .
Sheree loves warm weather, red convertibles and all kinds of sports... She is a huge YANKEE FAN !
Sheree love's animals and started a pet sitting service several years ago which has grown quickly and keeps her busier than she'd care to be.
Sheree will always try to put a smile on you face.

Jessica has been working in the dental field since age 17 when she discovered that she wanted to further her career as a hygienist.
She earned and Associates Degree in Science at Post University and subsequently graduated with honors from the School Of Dental Hygiene at Tunxis Community College.
Jessica joined our team in 2008, her wonderful personality and sense of humor, coupled with her dedication to our patients has endeared her to the office staff and patients alike.
In her off hours, Jessica enjoys riding her bike, is an avid movies buff and she loves just relaxing at the beach.
Kim graduated in 1987 with honors from Northeastern University/Forsyth School Of Dental Hygiene in Boston, Mass. She has been working as a dental hygienist for the past 22 years and has travelled extensivelly throughout the United States conducting clinical trails on various dental products where she gained invaluable experience.
Kim joined Joy's practice in August 1990 and has been a much revired member of the team, bringing her notable skills in communication, her sense of humor and her dedication to her profession. She is respected by the staff and her patients alike.
Kim resides locally with her husband Michael and their three children; Ryan, Jeffrey and Morgan. When not applying her considerable skills as a veteran hygienist, she enjoys the outdoors and treasures the time spent with her family and friends. Kim's friendly and out going nature and her ability to adapt to the individual needs of our patients, make her a true asset to the team.
Wendy Garcia is an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Online Bachelor of Science Degree Completion program for the Fones School of Dental Hygiene. She earned her A.S. in Dental Hygiene from the Fones School, B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of New Haven, and her M.S. in Education from the College of Education and Human Resource at the University of Bridgeport. She is currently completing her third year of doctoral studies in the Educational Leadership program at UB.
She has been in private practice since 1975 and accepted a faculty appointment at the Fones School in 2002 teaching in Radiology Lab and Second Year Clinic. During her tenure she has served as a clinical instructor in First Year Clinic, Coordinator of Community Rotation and taught Oral Anatomy and Embryology, Pharmacology, Public Health, Local Anesthesia, Internship and, Contemporary Dental Hygiene Practice in the A.S. and B.S programs, and Dental Hygiene Leadership and Evidenced-based Research in the M.S.D.H. program.
Her Master’s thesis guided the development of the MSDH program for the university and her dissertation will be “A Comparative Study of the Global Leadership Characteristics of Dental Hygiene Program Administrators.” Co authored publications include ““Dental Hygiene: Reflecting on Our Past, Preparing for Our Future” and “Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: Treatment with Confidence, Competence and Compassion.” Currently, she is serving as the principal investigator in collaborative research on Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction with the College of Chiropractic. She is a past president of the Connecticut Dental Hygienist’s Association.
Wendy joined our team in 1999 and has been an extraordinary addition to the staff. Her acomplishments noted above have kept not only Wendy, but the entire team on the cutting edge of the latest advancements in dental hygiene which quite simply translates in WORLD CLASS DENTAL CARE.
Wendy lives locally and in her precious spare time, raises her four children and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
